Nobody stops the mail.

As with most of the country, most of Woking is besieged by floodwaters. Only mild at the moment but rising steadily so that every low lying area, every dip in the road has grown from puddle to splash-point to minor flood.

Have seen several cars pulled up with water-logged engines after attempting pools in the road that turned out to be deeper than they were - especially on the Ockham/Rpley stretch of the journey to work.

This patch near Prey Heath where the river had just crept mildly over the bank was easily passable but looked very dramatic when the mail van cruised through.
