The New Year

Not the best start to the new year health wise for H. She's suffered from a chesty cough on and off for a couple of weeks but seemed much worse today, sounding quite rattly, she's also complained of a pain in her back when she lies down. After speaking to the on call doctor for advice I've taken her in, she's suffering from a chest infection and slight tonsillitis. Hopefully the back pain will disappear when the coughing stops after a course of antibiotics, possibly it's just strained muscles, but as it's in an unusual place and if it doesn't she needs to go back. Quite a thorough medical history gone through today, right back to being born premature, things that had been long forgotten.
