Double celebrations!
It's been a really long day but yet another really great day. Still absolutely bouncing from Monday's news and so nice to have headed down home to be able to celebrate with family as well.
I got to our little town just in time to join Mum and Gran on their Wednesday lunchtime outing. After a bite to eat we browsed the shops and did some errands before heading for refreshments.
Once we were home from work it was time to crack open the real champagne (complete with proper champagne flutes rather than the selection of ikea glasses we'd used at my flat).
You'd have thought that was enough to make the week fantastic but before heading out to catch up with the aunt and uncle I gave The Boy a quick ring. Following yesterday's outing our advisor had a viewing today rather than tomorrow and guess what? We've had our offer accepted on the flat so assuming no last minute things fall through before contracts are signed it's ours with a provisional move-in date just a month away. So no doubt you'll see more of that canal in future!
Maybe by next week I'll have come back down to earth!
(PS: to the small handful of people who know me in real life, sorry if you're seeing this before I've told you, mobile reception is bad here!)
