Off to see pals for pasta and pinot in sumptuous New Town surroundings. Ooo, how we drooled....

Chat from taxi driver;
"my eldest's in Dubai"
or was it
"the wife's made me a pie"
or was it
"we're going on holiday to Skye"
or perhaps it was
"I've something in my eye"

There's only so many times you can say "sorry, I can't quite hear you" So I just said "Oh....really?"
