Me and My Girl

Seems I have already failed at the 365 thing, whoops. Got to love new year's resolutions. I had a picture lined up for yesterday (was the cover from the Mr Crazylegs book I have finally finished designing and sent off for print) but blip didn't like it. Too small, blip said. Never mind, I shall take a pic of the real deal when it arrives. Can't wait.

Lily has turned into limpet child, bless her. She has to be glued to me 24/7. Today's photo was an experimental "selfie" with my posh camera. I wanted to see if my arms were long enough to actually fit us both in (it's not a very wide angle lens) and seemingly, they are :-)

Been a nice day today - our friends Mel, Isla and Max came over to play. Dylan went food shopping with Phil and for the first time, opted not to sit in the trolley but to push it around and help select things from the shelves himself. The boy's growing up.

We've explained to him that we're going to have a little jar to fill with notes of all the happy things that happen in our days this year, little things that make us smile. He asked if we could put some raisins in there as raisins make him smile.....
