Hats!

Been out for lunch with Mum today, had a nice meal at the Hopwood. Dylan did well, eating all his fish fingers and beans and most of the mashed potato. Of course, it was no problem to finish off a chocolate fudge cake. He always manages to leave a bit of space in his tummy for cake! The Boy is having a sleepover with the grandparents tonight. He was very excited to be packing up his 'supercase' as he's not been for ages (what with the spare/his bedroom being piled high with Christmas presents for the last couple of months). He's taken his playdoh sweet factory as well. Grandad will be having fun with that one!

Lily has enjoyed having me to herself this afternoon. She's been able to play with the kitchen without being divebombed by dinosaurs or cars. She's a funny wee thing. Seems she has her dad's 'hat gene' and won't be without a hat on wherever we are. Soon as we come downstairs in the morning, she's straight into the box to pick one out and pull it on. Today's choice of Diddy's bobblehat really complements her eyes, don't you think?

Expecting Phil home from football anytime now. Suspect he's not going to be a happy bunny with a 2-0 defeat to our home town club. Whoops ;-)
