Braid Burn at Gilmerton Road

A lovely quiet day today, and that includes the buses, which is not so lovely. I make a trip to Cameron Toll for some supplies for the traditional post festive Spokes Ride refreshments.

This is the Braid burn at Gilmerton as I am heading home. The sun has set, the twilight just gives enough light to allow me to take this photo and capture the street light reflected off the water. It seems quiet peaceful here, despite being a stone's throw away from a busy shopping centre.
