Ahoy there my Vera!

This beauty comprises many cures. She soothes, calms and heals and asks for little. We use you, love you, talk about you and occasionally water you. Vera, you are part of our family.

We plan to extend your presence by moving some of the offspring to the outdoors. There you will bask in the sun? Oh, yes it is officially summer here down under but the temperatures have been far from summery, and weĺl have no water restrictions ĺooming this year.

Our Saturday started with a phone call to check if our visitors are packed yet, to arrive next weekend! Yes, my mum is coming for her 3-yearly visit. We visited her motel to make sure all is okay and then a visit to the library, market shopping and the usual Saturday stuff. Now I am relaxing with a wine and feeling excited about the weeks to come. Soothing? The idea of 3 weeks holiday is very soothing. Calming? Strangely the excitement is preventing me from being calm. Healing? Reuniting with family is healing is every way possible!
