see fourteen.

flew to kansas city today in order to speak at a conference tomorrow. since the start of summer, it's been my first taste of any cool weather this year. in fact, i've completely forgotten to pack a jacket with me. of course, given these conferences, i doubt other than this blip that i'll actually spend any time outdoors during this trip.
