Can't beat the warm fuzzy feeling after you've given blood... and no, I don't mean the dizziness.

For once it was straightforward - very frustrating to get close (as I did last time) then they run out of time and don't get enough to use.

Had a lesson on platelet donation thrown in too which is interesting, although a far greater commitment and takes a lot longer. Apparently you can do that every three weeks cos they put the red bit back in.
