Say cheese!

This morning we took down the Christmas tree, put the balls and lights back into their boxes and tucked it all away again for the next 11 months.
I miss it a little, especially the lights.

After that we went to the market and the off-licence for more of our favourite sherry (where does it all go to... :) ), and took one or two bits and pieces to the second-hand shop.

We fancied some lunch at the local 'La Trappe' Abbey restaurant, so drove down there and had some great beer, delicious cheese, pear compote and crusty bread. Delicious! I was thinking of entitling my Blip the Good Life, after the Matt Monroe song of the same name, but decided to keep it cheesy.
On edit: the same delicious 'snack' enjoyed with fellow blippers Regine and Bhanu back in April 2013.


Even though the Christmas tree has been packed up, we're determined to hold onto that holiday feeling!

We're planning on having a quiet evening, no doubt eating and drinking a lot. Again :)
