Prick up your ears

After an exceptionally lazy sloth-like morning, we set off mid-afternoon to go to the local concert venue, to see various acts perform at the annual 'Frisse oren' (Fresh ears) cultural event.

Last year it was held at the local theatre, and tbh, I enjoyed it much more; the venue was larger, there were more diverse acts, and it seemed much more organised than this afternoon's show. In fact, there wasn't really much to photograph, but I was rather impressed by this ceiling canopy.
In spite of the lack of good acts, we had a few laughs, stretched our legs, and the homecoming hot chocolate was most welcome!

Tomorrow will be the first day of work for both of us after spending two lovely weeks (and two days) together, which will make things even harder I fear. The next time we see each other again will be over twelve days, counting down already....
