Passing

Today's study was blessed be the meek. It talked again about how everything is passing and how the meek are those who live in dependence of God, recognising the inheritance they have through Christ.

Today we started taking down our decorations, I put the Radio Times in the recycling and we finished all the birthday cakes... Everything passes, the season that takes over November and December is over for another year... 2013 is done and we are in 2014!

Reflecting on 2013 as I think about how it is a gift... Again I won't bore anyone here but I pray that I approach this new time, that will pass, giving glory to God.

Lord, I pray for meekness to receive this blessing. ‘Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret over those who prosper… it only leads to evil’ (Psalm 37:7–8).
