Apfelstrudel

We went to tesco this morning for grocery shopping. Cost a fortune & except for a £9 pyrex dish & a £5 dvd we didn't buy anything extra. Then we went to coffee morning. They were already packed up when we arrived, but made us a coffee & tea & there were 2 scones left in the oven. Must have been a sign.

Then we went looking for a combination microwave. We found one at John Lewis, but didn't buy it; will have to wait till next month.

Had duck breasts with red wine sauce, baby parsnips and samphire for dinner. No wedges, because we're on diet. But then we had a whole apple strudel with a tub of cream. Not much of a diet.
