It was a bright but cold morning when we set off along the canal at 8.30am on our search for poor Rocko, the missing beagle. After climbing up and down hills yesterday that flat was very welcome. We arrived at Beecraigs to the good news that Rocko had been spotted twice this morning within the park and not really that far from where he went missing but he now seems to be very, very frightened. He was within inches of being caught but was spooked and ran away. When we left his owners were cooking sausages on a BBQ in the hope that the smell would bring him out and now they have a better idea where he seems to be they plan to stay late into the night.
I do hope he is found soon, I really don't want him to spend another cold night, alone in the woods but at least he was seen today and looked to be in a good condition. Please come home Rocko.
