Soaked and scrubbed and ready for School!

Today has been a Sunday of preparation for school tomorrow. My bags are packed and stored by the front door already, and I've enjoyed a long and relaxing soak in the bath. It's been a lovely break, an opportunity to meet up with family and friends, eating, drinking and plenty of merriment, but now it's time to think about the new term.

I'm not sad to be going back tomorrow, there's something to be said for being back in a routine, and if I continued to gorge on chocolates and cakes for much longer I'd look like a whale! I like to be prepared; I think it stems from being a child when Sunday before bed meant having everything folded by the bed, and school bags filled with books and pencils so nothing was forgotton.

Tomorrow's a teacher day, so there's a chance to ease into the working week at a slower pace. That's good as tonight is Sherlock!
