Artic vortex

Until this morning, I had never heard the term "Arctic Vortex." I now am very clear on its definition. I had a chance to go out early this afternoon for a wonderful walk in the snow. Took some food to a neighbor whose back yard is the subject of this blip. It was so beautiful I hated to come back in the house. Well...things have changed. The wind is howling and the snow is blowing like mad. Drifts are piling up. From the sound of things, I won't bother to snow-blow until at least Wednesday!!
