The end!

Boxes of Christmas lights ready to go back up the loft after clearing the Christmas decorations away. Wondered when we had bought these as the boxes look really old! I actually started clearing away last night having got my dates mixed up, but at least there was less to do today.

Also finally got to scatter my Mum's ashes today - she wouldn't be happy that it has taken us such a very long time to get around to it - she liked everything to be done immediately so that she knew it had been dealt with! She is now residing under a beautiful huge camellia bush, so if it flowers well this summer we will know why!

Rest of evening spent with the family trying to work out an itinerary for daughter and family to go to Australia, but thwarted as she is insisting that she wants to go via Bora Bora - not an easy to reach stopover point, and tremendously expensive for a family of 4! J & I have offered our services as babysitters if they will take us along!
