Another day spent on the unexpected work - finished it at last, phew! Not much of a weekend, though. I shall definitely take some TOIL in due course (time off in lieu, for the benefit of those not working for the man). The virus seems to be in retreat....

We finished the jigsaw a few days ago (it provided some harmless entertainment over the new year period), but didn't dismantle it in case one of us was short of a blip. :-) The map dates from 1630 - it's quite good in parts, but has California as an island and a huge amorphous area that seems to include Antarctica labelled "Terra Australis Incognita". Not a trace of New Zealand, though.
