Last One on the Tree!

As I removed each ornament and carefully put them away for another year, a new one joins the tradition. This is the ornament we got for 2013. I think it appropriate for several reasons. There is an ornament for each year since 1982. Every one has some special meaning. Now that the tree is in a new home, we will give each year forward another new ornament with the year on it, to add to the collection. With all the joys and tragedies we encountered in 2013 as well as my big move and new beginnings, we move ahead to 2014 and I look forward to new adventures and challenges. Blipping will be in my things to do each day. 15 more till 365!

This is the earliest I have ever taken down my tree, but it is also the earliest I had ever put it up, so I guess I am somewhat even. I usually wait till little Christmas... just a couple of days early!

The day was somewhat grey and gloomy with sun trying to penetrate the clouds. It is still cold, but not much wind.
