Windy Day at Nanpantan
In keeping with my resolution to get my tripod and filters out more, I took them to Nanpantan Reservoir to try and capture some motion blur using a Lee Big Stopper and long exposure, although I forgot the remote release cable.
Quite pleased with this as it captures the movement of the clouds scudding across the sky and even at 25 s you can still motion in the surface of the water. At the far end is a faint rainbow. The white dot in the middle of the water is a grebe swimming about. So pleased to see the grebe. If the one that was left behind last year, he or she has grown a lot since I last saw him/her. Winter plumage, so a lot of white.
