Monday Riddle...
First day back at work, and a really productive day spent planning for 2014 with my senior team.
We always try to find interesting community venues for these days, and this time it was Riddles Court at the Lawnmarket. It is an A Listed courtyard house dating from the late 16th Century. It has a fascinating history, including being the home of David Hume and Patrick Geddes at various points in its history.
It's now owned by the Scottish Historic Buildings Trust, who are on a major fundraising mission to do some much needed restorations. Find out more at SHBT's website.
This pic is of the incredible ceiling in the Geddes Room - breathtaking.
