Monday: Armour

Today was a random public holiday (Epiphany) so no work - it made the return to work a lot less painful last week.  Tomorrow it is back properly and back into the real world.

This afternoon we went to see'The Hobbit' which we thoroughly enjoyed.  I thought it was much better than the first part - mind you, if you hadn't read the book, or seen the first movie, you'd be pretty lost.  It doesn't do well as a self-standing movie but I guess you would never watch it as that.  Anyway, a really good movie - now all we have to do is wait for part 3.

This facade was en route to the cinema.  A suit of armour seemed vaguely appropriate, given all the sword battles.

Home viewing is also mighty fine at the the moment in the form of season 2 of'Borgen'.
