Tuesday: Mystery

It was a local public holiday today, and my final day off.  I can't complain at all, having worked just two days in the last three weeks.  Actually, K. and I were saying that it was probably time for me to go back to work to give us both some structure to our days again.......

We half mooted going for a walk but then decided it was too grey and dismal and a cosy day at home beckoned instead.  All the snow has more or less melted, revealing a mysterious shoe in our garden.  We are not entirely sure where it has come from and what the etiquette might about trying to return it to its owner.  I suspect it has come from the top floor flat who shovelled shoes off their balcony, thinking it was just snow.

One thing I did achieve today was to finish 'A Paper House - The Death of Yugoslavia' by Mark Thompson.  It wasn't a light read, as you can imagine, but I did learn a lot from it.
