Unseasonal images

Cairngorm was storm bound today with snow and high winds. Meanwhile in my garden it was quite mellow. I have had my eye on this rose as a bud for a month or more but the peacock butterfly was a surprise. It was not flying but was gently opening and closing its wings and seemed in pretty good fettle.
