Depth of field

Cairngorm was storm bound again today. Down in Findhorn in the weather shadow of the Cairngorms it was pleasantly mild again. When we are in the lee of the Cairngorms we often get interesting cloud formations and today was no exception and it might have been nice to blip these. However SOLOH had the morning off and we decided to go for a walk to Brodie. It is always interesting and today the daffs were just showing their heads and a cherry was in blossom! We ended up by the loch and took a number of bird shots. However I quite like this one of the black headed gulls in their non breeding winter plumage
