time machine

ok, it's not really a time machine -- it's just the Apple Store (on 5th Ave & 59th Street) gleaming in the gloaming - a bit like a glass temple.

many of the holiday visitors have departed and some of the shopping madness seems to have ebbed.

my dentist's office is in this neighborhood so now you will always know that I've had a cleaning when the Plaza Hotel (and environs) show up in my journal.
