Sundown's Show

Today's sundown provided 90 minutes of pure entertainment; no, a more accurate count would be 120 minutes or more.

The palette of warm colors heated the sky as the fiery ball dropped closer and closer to the water's edge. The sky filled with anticipation and excitement.

We watched breathless while applauding the spectacular show!

The the ball of fire silently, slowly dropped out of sight as the sky blushed and faded into darkness.

The show was all free! Well, that's not exactly true -- it cost us the most expensive thing we have, our attention!

Now we wait for the reappearance of that fire ball; the birth of a new day. We'll call it "Tomorrow."
