Fishermens Bend

We spent the night at Fishermens bend by the Aviemore Dam.
All the dams were letting out water there are three dams in a row creating lakes in between, and they are connected to lake Tekapo and Pukaki with more dams and hydro systems in between.
The lakes were high and here at Fishermens bend a popular camp area part of the area normally used for camping was under water.

I took this picture before the breeze spoilt the reflections, you can just see the dam and to the left the river racing by very fast. The water here forms a small quiet lake where campers like to swim.

I used the HDR in snapseed.
