Awesomely Fantastical!

Today was Awesomely Fantastical, you all knew that, right?

So says my 21 year old daughter Emma and here's the story of how she came up with such a profound statement.....

You may remember from yesterday's journal entry, I moaned and groaned about the heat and ordered a portable air-conditioner. When I arrived at the store to collect it today, what should meet me, situated on the first stand as I walked through the shop door, but a range of kitchen gadgets that Emma has had her eye on forever, items that she has drooled over for months on end....on sale.

I asked the sales woman if they had the toaster, the kettle, etc, also discounted, only to learn that the range was to be discontinued! Shock and horrification, I had to phone Emma immediately!

Amid phone calls to another store (closer to home!) we managed to locate all of Emma's dream items, in the colour Emma dreamed they would be ~ magenta.....all at discounted prices and a couple of them at half price!

And here they all are, stacked in the wardrobe of my spare bedroom (the room Emma slept in as a baby) awaiting her move within a month or two into her new unit that she and her boyfriend will be renting.

So, that all makes today an Awesomely Fantastical day for Emma!

And the weather was cooler than yesterday, so I think it was an Awesomely Fantastical day too! :)
