I live in Derby and work in Nottingham. As the crow flies its 15 miles ... Christ I wish I was a crow.

My weekly commute averages out at 300 miles driving along the A50 and then the country route between Kegworth and Ruddington which is absolutely beautiful apart from the one blot on the landscape in the form of Ratcliffe-on-Soar's power station.

Over the last 18 months I've observed the changing seasons and how the farmers work the fields with interest.
