this is me competing in the leicestershire hill climb time trial championship.
a bumper turn-out saw 52 riders throw themselves up polly bott's lane. the three main clubs in the area all use this as their hill climb decider. whoever is fastest up from the club is their best climber.
as usual i rode fixed and as usual i decided half way up that tis was probably not a good idea.
i've done so little riding this year that i wasn't expecting much and sure enough, i didn't deliver much.

not sure what won, probably something around 2'40"


busy weekend really with 5 hours paddling yesterday and racing today. good to top up the uv level before this week begins where i'll ride to and from work in the dark...
