Waterfowl

Today started off fowl foul, and then turned quite quickly into a day with beautiful blue skies, although somewhat chilly in the wind. It looks as though it might get wet and windy again tonight, before another bright day tomorrow, at least during the bulk of the daylight.

Spent most of the day hunting for my study and desk amongst all the 'stuff' that I piled in/on it over the holiday period. Still some work to do to sort things out though as at a minimum I need to move the pile of 'filing' from off my bed back into the study.

Took a break in the afternoon for a quick trek into Moulden Hill Country Park with the idea of walking round the lake and getting a photo. I got the photo, but not round the lake as the lake has grown across the path in several places, and the grassy verges are treacherously muddy too. I did consider posting a photo of the 'extended lake' but decided on this peaceful scene of ducks, geese, swans and gulls instead. Although if I had arrived 30 seconds earlier with my camera I would have caught a shot of one of the swans attacking a gull. The two ladies feeding them all were actually quite scared. By the time I got here they had beat a hasty retreat, as had the gulls, and all looked quiet again!

Just another day in paradise, well in Moulden Hill anyway.
