This is entry number 3 on my 100 happy days challenge. The goal is to find something that makes you happy every day for 100 days and document it with a photo. So at the end you will have 100 happy photos.

Today Amelie's joy with her new glow in the dark rocket wellies made me happy. She was over the moon with them (sorry for the pun, it was genuinely unintentional!) they were one of three pairs left in the shop in her size. It was pouring with rain and her fairly new pink ladybird wellies had a hole in them. She is quite honestly happier with these wellies than she has been with any other pair of wellies she has ever had!

Isaac has been doing lots of free standing today and using the walker to walk around. I really don't expect it to be long before he is attempting steps! The development or teeth or lack of afternoon nap resulted in him hanging off me all afternoon, which was exhausting. He ate a ridiculous amount of tuna pasta for dinner which was a good thing because I spent a long time dealing with his sister....

She had pushed the wooden arm, holding her section of table up, back and so when she leant on the table the whole thing collapsed sending her crashing to the floor. She was upset, bleeding and dinner was everywhere. Isaac munched on pretty much regardless! I took her into the bathroom to wipe up some blood and see what had happened. I had a horrible feeling it might have been a tooth knocked out but thankfully it was only a rogue bit of cheese. Major relief! Her lip was swollen so I calmed her and we put some frozen peas on it. She was ok until Chris came in when she broke down again. She eventually managed to eat her (remade) dinner and then I took a look and saw she had torn her maxillary frenulum (bot attaching gum to lip) Poor wee scone! I waited til her and I were in the bath later on to explain what she had done and that it would mend itself etc. she took it very well and we had a nice relaxing bath singing songs and being silly. She asked for me to put her to bed (wonders will never cease) so we cuddled up and she was asleep in minutes. Think she may have a fat lip in the morning :(
