New residence
We have a few new residence. These ducks have been having a nice time swimming around in the big puddle in our garden. We have had our neighbours geese pop across the river and have a swim in there as well. The river is high and running fast with all the rain we have had and so very muddy. Thankfully, apart from Christmas Eve when we were surrounded by water, the river hasn't broken it's banks. I feel so desperately sorry for for people who are caught up in the flooding. I also feel for the people in the USA who are caught up in the big freeze. My son goes back to Montana on Sunday and I'm hoping there are no delays because of it. He has a stop over in Minneapolis which has been suffering with the extreme cold. Such strange weather conditions are we to blame?
Back to Zumba tonight. First one of the new year...boy was it hard. A few new routines to learn. I love my Zumba class.
I also went back to work today teaching my special needs swimming. We have a few new ones. Fun and games in the changing rooms as one of the girls refused to get dressed when the lesson finished and locked herself in the cubical. She came out eventually but they were all late back for lunch.
On the diet front I've been an angel again. I get such a sense of achievement when I get to the end of the day and know I've had a good day. I just hope at the end of the week I get good results.
