Who could tell?

As I was tidying up the tree last night I fel a drip of water.

It was coming from the top of the window frame some 10cm inside the window. A very helpful roofer - no doubt at some expense - turned up this afternoon to have a look.

It seems that the flashing behind the rhone has gone and rainwater, propelled by the wind, has been getting inside the house. Nothing obvious from the outside and glad it has been patched up for the time being.

Was a bit of a distraction for me after stage 2 of the bill proceedings ended at lunchtime.

Let's hope for a more normal day tomorrow.
