Dolly Parton

Aka San onofre nuclear power station. The wife has called it Dolly Parton since a child for obvious reasons.

Up in irvine today. Carpooled with the other associate who started same time as me. Spent the entire day in a corner house bakery talking shop, met a head rep, life science specialist and another head rep. Free lunch again. Didn't really learn a great deal as we don't know how it's applied. But I think some of it is sinking in. They keep asking us if we are feeling overwhelmed and not to be concerned but honestly I'm not feeling like that. Finished by 2 and home by 3.

Due up there for the rest of the week, but scheduled has now changed so only up there tomorrow, local Thursday and home based Friday in preparedness for annual conference this weekend.

Tonight was a return to footy. 2 games luckily with a break in the middle. Got spanked both times as expected in this top league with a small squad and best players missing. Plus lack of fitness and recovering from illness. All excuses I know but I think I played alright. Including a breather in goal. Will ache tomorrow though. Finished the season firmly rooted to the bottom of the table with 1 win, 1 draw and several heavy losses. Back down to at least B league next season (which starts next week) with a new boss, lots of players leaving but at least it should be more of a contest!
