Cobb Wall

Took the opportunity to go down to the Harbour with Mr Lovely who drove us over to Lyme to drop Jai at school.

Sky was stunning this morning, still stormy, and although it wasn't high tide the sea was still battering the Cobb wall.

One gentleman was taking a brisk walk along the top of the Cobb Wall, headphones in and on a mission. Just before he got to the first bend in the wall a huge wave hit and missed him by inches. He did a quick U-turn and briskly walked back! 'Far too close for comfort!' he told me as he walked back past me.

Mr Lovely braved the top of the wall and the waves. He's found a spot on the Cobb the waves don't seem to hit when he's stood there and took some stunning pics, which he will no doubt post later after he's finished work.

Lovely way to start the day!

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.
