Snowflake

Stuck indoors all day today on a course and at work.

Mr Lovely removed the Christmas Tree from the Living Room, which I was reluctant to do. It was such a beautiful tree, but is now chopped up and in the local recycling bin :-(

Even though we've had bad weather of late, reading about the Polar Vortex today, Hell freezing over and St Joseph's lighthouse turning into a large icicle, we realise we haven't had it quite as bad as America.

The closest thing to snow we have at the moment is this fake snowflake, taken off our Christmas tree today. Hoping all my friends, family and fellow Blipper's in America stay safe in this strange weather.

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says "Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again."
Lewis Carroll
