Coffee Break

Trying to get back into a routine but it's not been easy, keep on feeling hungry after all my random nibbling over the festive season. Hopefully the sweet stuff is coming to an end so the temptation will be gone with them.

Got two lovely surprises in the post this morning.

Firstly an ASHR 3 Award (Advanced Student Honour Roll) from Kumon which is the highest award in Kumon and Blaine has ranked 49 out of 43,427 in the UK, so quite something!

Then a letter from the school saying Blaine had earned 3 more Performance Awards, one each in Maths, French & Music. Another proud moment.

But then.......

I get a text from Blaine saying he's lost the cheque I wrote out that was due today, to pay for his school trip to France, so now I'm seething! How can such a clever boy be so scatterbrained!

And breathe....
