Printer

In case anyone seriously doubted my ability to get the new printer working (mostly, those who know me well,) here is the evidence - the machine and a couple of early pieces of work. It prints text and photographs well (after a bit of trial and error with the settings) and also photocopies.

BUT for the life of me I can't get the scanner to work. It requires the printer/scanner driver software to be downloaded from the Canon website. I have tried five times on two computers. I get the set up file, follow the instructions, am told it is completed but then can't find the driver software anywhere.

I'll try again tomorrow.
