Channel

7.2C sunny, bright, clear, cool, and breezy.

Maeve the Deerhound and I had our walk after lunch. I will miss these clear cool days when the weather begins to change as it inevitably will.

Down at the beach the tide was almost at its lowest. When we reached the channel the boats use to get through the rocks we were able to walk out almost to the seaward end on the firm sand. Out there was a world of blue, with only the rocks and the posts offering warmer tones.

The extra minutes of light in the afternoon are very evident on clear days like this and they are very welcome.
