NO FUTURE . . .

That’s All Folks – TAF - was first used by Warner Brothers in Looney Tunes cartoons. Porky the Pig would show up at the ending screen proclaiming "That's All, Folks."

In this case TAF marks the end of the Futurist Theatre in Scarborough, UK which finally closed this week. Built in 1921, it was capable of holding an audience of over 2000 and has been a major building on the South Bay Seafront since. Look here.

Scarborough Council bought it in 1985 – their plan to save it – board it up for 6 months and see what happens ! A grand plan indeed !
