New Gadget

It has arrived! Fancy getting excited about a gadget! It will have a road test tomorrow or Saturday as, being a woman, I will read the instruction manual.

You might be able to tell from the image that the sky is very clear here today and it has gone very cold now - all things are relative, but it seems that tonight will be the colder of the year so far for us - so some warming soup will be good over the next few days.

I am pleased with myself that I have completed my first full week at school since October. I have Fridays off and I am looking forward to a bit of a lie-in tomorrow. I enjoy being at school most of the time but I think that these days I enjoy being at home more. Maybe a bit less school next year, a bit more home, maybe no school next year. The decision will come when it will come.

One of the highlights of the day was hearing that Gillian Anderson is going to be in a new production of "A Streetcar named Desire" a little later in the year. That will be a must see.

I'm sitting looking out of the window over the garden, the sky is darkening but still has the golden glow in the West and some ducks have flown over coming in low to "land" on the pool in the field. They always remind me of the flying ducks on Hilda Ogden's wall in Coronation Street.
