Working in the dark

The Orkney Ferries sailings are running to the refit timetable at present, which generally means early starts. This morning was not as nasty as yesterday, when Kelly had to take the bus to meet the 7.00am sailing. In comparison, I got to enjoy a half-hour lie-in. But there was still a distinct absence of daylight when I arrived. This is what the Loth terminal looks like from the pier, when you take the time to squint at it through sleepy eyes. I say 'terminal', but other than the waiting room in the shot, there is not exactly a lot of infrastructure. It just happens to be the end of the road.
