Lost My Name....

These arrived today from Granny and Grandad! Very exciting as the books are personalised with the children's names. Each book is delightfully illustrated and has a captivating story about a little boy/girl who discovers things beginning with all the letters of their name.

Simon was around to pick up Ruth and he enjoyed being the first to read Oscar and Bailee the longest books in the world (Better value to order them with their middle names!) They were absolutely entranced (Also due to Simon's Southern English accent ;-))

I think Maple's teeth are hurting as she was uncharacteristically clingy and grumpy today. Bailee and Oscar were weary after four days back at nursery. Things were going a bit haywire indoors so I took us outside to make peace with nature. It all went well and then Oscar took the top layer of skin off his big toe after he fell over running on the path. A flap lifted off and there was quite a bit of blood. He got a fright and was upset. He did enjoy being the patient and elevating his leg for cleaning and antiseptic treatment.
