a day at home - out in the freezing shed cutting wood on the fret saw, which I broke in the end. I'm a nervous wreck with that bloody (not literally, touch wood) saw. ordered parts to fix it.

had to have several words with peggy about being cheeky to her piano teacher tonight - he doesn't seem to mind, but I can hear her messing about from the other room...

we watched the thirteenth tale with olivia coleman and vanessa redgrave which I thought was a bit boring (bee slept through most of it) then nipped out to see if we could see the northern lights. we didn't, but it's a fantastically clear night with a bright moon...if we didn't have kids and jobs and stuff we could be up barra hill on a night like this star gazing and talking about how vast the universe is...
