Morning glory from the viaduct.

We left the old Wilsden station at 8.00am and the sky was building to an interesting light. Walking across Hewenden Viaduct, part of the Great Northern Railway Trail, this amazing sky was behind us.

We chose to walk this route as a good part of it would be free from mud. Later we did a loop around Ellar Carr which was predictably very muddy. On return a cold wind developed, I checked my new toy - Map my Walk - and we had done 4.59 miles. A good walk and definitely worth it for these early skies.
