Promising

I was delighted to find these hellebore buds looking full of promise in the garden today! They are pink and green and will last for months.
The Village Cafe was in full swing this morning - back to normal - and everyone seemed pleased to see each other after the break.
This afternoon I had a session with my "foot health practitioner" which was a bit of luxury! I bounced out on my beautiful feet!
Disappointingly, it began to rain while I was in town, so I did not linger for long!
Cooking one of Nigel Slater's fast suppers tonight - chicken marsala!
