Floodwater reflections

The water is finally subsiding, although the Abingdon Road is still very flooded and impassable to traffic or pedestrians without wellies. It was eerily quiet as I walked back from the paper shop - it's stocks low as no deliveries have been made for days. The water was still, the sun rising in a blue sky and there were stunning reflections.

It's been a difficult few days, thanks everyone who posted lovely comments and messages. I hope we have a very long dry spell now as the water table is very high and any rain will cause new flooding.
